John Chrysler:
John Chrysler, P.E.
Executive Director
Masonry Institute of
America
|
John has been practicing in the masonry industry
since 1968 as a Contractor, Licensed Civil
Engineer, Certified Structural Masonry Inspector
and Executive Director of the Masonry
Institute of America. He has developed publications
for the masonry industry based on interpretation
of building codes and industry practice.
These activities include involvement in the
continuous development of national building
codes and industry material standards. John had
been an educator teaching Structural Masonry
Inspection and an author of six books,
including:
“Masonry Inspector’s Workbook” and
“Reinforced Concrete Masonry Construction
Inspectors Handbook”, based on
the 2006 International Building Code and
the 1997 Uniform Building Code. |
